Photography & content direction

Briefs, art direction and image libraries that show the place the way guests and buyers experience it.

What it is

Show the place as it is felt.

Images sell a stay, a residence or a charter before any words are read. Most brands have plenty of photographs and too few that say anything particular about the place.

We write the brief, plan the shot list around the website and campaigns, choose the photographer and direct on the day. Light, time of day, styling and people are decided in advance, so every image has a job.

What you can expect

Six things this includes.

    A written brief

  • 05

    Short film

Motion for the website and social, shot alongside the photography where possible.

Questions

Asked before we start.

Do you take the photographs yourselves?

No. We direct the shoot and work with photographers who specialise in the subject. The studio makes sure the images fit the brand and the website.

Can generated images replace a shoot?

For moodboards and early concepts they are useful. For a real place, guests expect to see the real place, so final images should be photographed.

Who owns the images?

Usage rights are agreed with the photographer before the shoot and recorded in the library, so you know where each image can be used.
